| These are some of my photos from Chania, Crete. They are mostly of the old Venetian town and for the most part I left out captions unless it was absolutely necessary just because words that state the obvious can be distracting and because frankly I did not feel like writing captions for 65 photos. The first couple dozen were taken the morning we arrived when the light was perfect. Later in the week it became overcast. I actually chose these out of about 2500 photos I took in Chania and some related photos I liked so much that I made other photo pages for them which you can find at the Chania Index.
