TOUR IN GREECE
FOR THE DISABLED

The city of Athens and Greece is not known as a particularly friendly place for people who require the use of wheelchairs. For one reason the ground is un-even because of rocks, hills and mountains and the occasional ravine. Most of the villages on the islands are stepped. In Athens it is possible to see enough of the city with a wheel chair so that you would not even miss what is inaccessable. But the problem is that only the larger and more expensive hotels have the space to offer facilities that make life in a wheelchair easier. Keeping this in mind I asked my friend George Gerassimides of Fantasy Travel to come up with an itinerary for people who are confined to a wheelchair or have difficulty walking. It includes escorts and assistance but if you are traveling with someone who helps you the price can be adjusted. Also if you are a person who has difficulty walking but does not require the ramps and facilities that someone in a wheelchair needs you can stay at other hotels which will be cheaper.
