As the last of the Argentine players left the court I turned around to the group of Americans in my section to offer some words of consolation. To my surprise they were all gone. They had disappeared as had the others who had been waving flags scattered in various sections of the arena. I had been sitting next to Ric Wilson the Sports Marketing Director for Converse who was traveling with the team. "It's going to be a long bus ride back to the Queen Mary" he told me as he said goodbye.
