Guide to Greek Island Charters and Cruises

Sailing in GreeceAs anyone who has done it will tell you, the best way to visit the Greek Islands and the coast of mainland Greece is by sailboat. There are a large number of yacht companies, skipper-owners, flotillas, cabin cruises and even day sails cruising the Aegean and Ionian seas of Greece. This page will help you decide what kind of boat you want, where to go, when to go, and even who to go with. To begin with I recommend reading my article about a trip I took a couple years ago called To Sail in Greece. Then come back and read about Tim Aquilina's family trip with Stefen Richter entitled Sailing the Greek Islands: A Family Cruise of a Lifetime. Then come back and click through the various resources and recommended companies. You may want to bookmark this page because many of the links lead off the site and you may not find your way back.  You can also e-mail me if you have any questions. If you find this page useful please share it with your friends on Facebook and Google+ using the buttons at the bottom of the page. There is also a link to join my Facebook Group.
