THE WINDMILL BOUTIQUE HOTEL

The Windmill Boutique Hotel (B’ Class, 3 stars) dates back from 1852 and remains one of the few traditionally restored windmills in Greece today. Located 600 meters from the port of Kimolos and 700 meters from the main town "Chorio", this perfect getaway invites the guests to experience the charm and authenticity of Greek hospitality, while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and exploring this unspoiled destination formerly known as 'Argentiera', or the so-called 'pirates’ island'.

The Windmill has been recently renovated to create an elegant boutique-style hotel with modern amenities and facilities. The exceptional location, classic design and a touch of romance, all combine to create unique holiday experience and relaxing moments.

The Windmill has a total of only five (5) unique units, each fully equipped with Air conditioning, satellite LCD TV, music link up, Wi-Fi Internet, safe box, mini bar, hair dryer, luxury linens and bathroom amenities, and balcony or veranda, most with sea view (except “Apomero” which has a view to the Chorio).

At the Windmill Boutique hotel, the guests can be accommodated in the following uniquely designed units:

• Double Back view “Apomero” (1 unit):
  suitable for 2 persons, located on the east side of the Windmill with its terrace overlooking the nearby village of Chorio. It has a spacious bedroom with a built-in double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
• Double Sea view “Aloni” (1 unit):
  suitable for 2 persons, it has a bedroom with a built-in double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Its covered terrace with built-in sun beds provides the ultimate relaxing experience.
• Double Best view “Agnantio” (1 unit):
  suitable for 2 persons, located on the second floor with a charming balcony, perched at the top of the mill tower, which provides some of the hotel’s best views. It has a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower.
• Suite “Apagio” (1 unit):
  suitable for 2 - 4 persons, consists of a bedroom with a built-in double bed and a living room with two traditional sofas which can be turned into single beds. It has a modern bathroom with shower. The built-in sun-lounges on the terrace offer panoramic views of the port and the Island of Polyaigos.
• Superior Suite “Strogilo” (1 unit):
  suitable for 4 persons, is the largest suite - maisonette that can separately accommodate a family or two couples. The two levels are connected by an internal stone staircase. There is a built-in double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower on the ground floor plus a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed on the upper floor. For convenience, each room has its own entrance. The private large terrace on the first floor provides wonderful views of the port and the Aegean sea.

Among general facilities, the Windmill Boutique hotel offers café bar, private parking, daily housekeeping and laundry services. The guests can enjoy breakfast with local delicacies, lights snacks or delicious cocktails at the all day Windmill Café & Bar, overlooking the neighbouring island of Poliaigos and the Aegean Sea.
