WINDMILL KARAMITSOS

Windmill Karamitsos is a detached traditional windmill house, located in a very peaceful and quiet area at the top of a hill just above Tripiti Village, approximately 5 km from the port of Adamas and 3 km from the nearest beach. The windmill is surrounded by garden and large terraces with magnificent views, offering unlimited panoramic view of the traditional hillside villages, the Aegean sea and the surrounding islands.

This windmill, refurbished into a house, was built during the 19th century and can comfortably accommodate 4 persons. It is built in three levels which are connected with an interior stone staircase. On the ground floor there are a WC and a sitting room equipped with a TV and a CD player. On the first floor there is one bedroom with a double bed and on the second floor there is one more bedroom with a double bed.

Detached from the windmill and 4 meters from it, is what used to be the "wheat grinder's" cottage, now functioning as an annex to the windmill house consisted of a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with fireplace, and the main bathroom (with hairdryer).

The outdoor garden area is well-attended, with a millstone used as a decorative detail. Guests can relax in the built-in sofas and armchairs and a barbeque is also available. The accommodation is pet friendly.

There is available parking space directly in front of the main entrance and guests are also provided with the beach towels during their stay.
