VILLA ALEXIA

The Villa Alexia is situated in a peaceful spot on the hillside overlooking the Aegean Sea, panoramic views of the sea, the famous monastery of Chrysopigi, and the nearby islands. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity even in the peak season, surrounded by verandas, olive trees and a small vineyard, while it is also close to two of the most popular island’s beaches.

The Villa is composed of the main part of the house and the guest Annex, which in total consist of four bedrooms and three bathrooms that can accommodate up to seven persons. It was built in 1995 by Myrto Kostikas, a renowned architect, who fully respected the Cycladic tradition of Sifnos and used local craftsmen and materials. Its decoration combines a blend of modern and antique furniture, along with many paintings and books.

The main part of the house consists of a large living and dining room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen in the traditional style with a pantry, one large master twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet and a separate WC for the visitors.

The Annex consists of three separate bedrooms (a double bedroom, a single bedroom with an office desk, and a twin bedroom) and two bathrooms with shower. Each bedroom has its own independent veranda.

Both are traditional buildings, with thick stone walls, providing naturally cool and comfortable atmosphere (the villa is not air conditioned). There is a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, and one ground fan available for guest use.

Outdoors, one can find an inner courtyard with a lemon tree and three garden tables. There is a “pezoula” (built- in stone seating with comfortable cushions) and a number of deck chairs and garden chairs where guests can enjoy ample places to sit and watch the sea, the moon and unique scenery of the Chrysopigi.

The villa is fully equipped with Television, CD-player, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board and steam iron.

Free Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the premises, while the Villa also has a private parking.

Change of linen and cleaning is available once per week. Daily maid service is available with extra charge upon request.
