| The Halkidiki Penisula has some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and some of the best hotels too. The 3 fingers of Kassandra, Sithonia and Mount Athos can be reached by bus, taxi or rental car from Thessaloniki but many people drive there from Europe and the Balkans. There are few if any places in Greece with such a large number of excellent beaches from family style with watersports and other amusements to secluded coves where you can totally escape. | ||
