Impressions of Nafplio
No. I did not suddenly turn into a great impressionistic artist. I merely combined two settings on my simple little Sony Cybershot camera to create this effect that makes Nafplio look like some wonderful little town in France. Not that Nafplio does not look like a wonderful little town in France. To me it looks even better, the old part at
least. But these settings, plus the fact that I was there during a rare summer rain (of near biblical proportions) enabled me to take these
photos of one of my favorite places in Greece. For those of you who are aspiring artists who want to do a painting of Greece that is not all little square houses and blue seas, you can print out one of these to use as a model that you can do from home and spend your time in Greece eating, drinking and swimming, rather than painting. Anyway the main reason I made this page is because I took the photos and did not know what else to do with them besides post them on Facebook where they would just be lost forever.
