I can't describe the feeling I had to be sitting watching a baseball game with Mount Hymetos in the background. This was a proud moment for the Greek team which actually game within one pitch of beating the Cubans. The Greek fans were great and embraced the team and we all thought this was just the beginning of baseball in Greece. But the New Democracy government cut off all the funding for the National team and the stadiums fell apart and that was that. Start with the first photo and click your way through.
