We spent a lot of time playing in empty lots like this one next to the OTE building on Mikras Asias. I am the one wearing the helmet which is made of a plastic wine jug. My brother David is holding the fish. The fellow on the right with the cape is my best friend Ian Sammet-Smith who was British. The rest of the kids are Greek. In fact few of the kids in our neighborhood had ever met an American before we moved in. |
