From Lycavettos. This is the period when Athens turned into a sea of apartment buildings. People would trade their land to builders in exchange for a couple modern apartments in the building. Nothing was spared. Even houses that should have been mational monuments like the home of Admiral Miaoulis one of Greece's greatest heroes were demolished and replaced with 5 story concrete apartments. |
