A Guided Delphi Tour.

Your guided excursion to Delphi begins with you being picked up from your hotel in the morning, you'll then be driven to Delphi along the main highway going through the Veotia region. On your arrival in Delphi "the Navel of the Earth" you will visit the Delphi Museum with the famous bronze Charioteer, the statue of Antinoos and after the museum, the ancient sanctuary itself with all its renowned ruins of the "Omphalos" (Navel) of the Ancient world.

As you tour the Delphi archaeological site, you will feel the mystery surrounding the "Temple of Apollo" where Pythia was seated giving out her predictions of the future. See the "Castalia Spring" with the two monumental fountains receiving water from the spring for the last 3000 years.

After lunch you'll leave Delphi and drive through the traditional village of "Arachova" known for its famous handmade carpets and quilts. Then you will continue, passing through the cities of Levadia and Thivai (Thebes) before arriving back in Athens in the evening.
