Folegandros original pathways lead us to beautiful beaches and at the same time we have the opportunity to visit the typical chapels and the unique lemon tree security “homes".
The tour starts the church of Panagia is one of the most famous sights of Folegandros. Apart from the religious and cultural interest of this guided tour, visitors enjoy the panoramic view that is unforgettable.
We continue the tour with a visit at Kastro (castle) of Hora, which is the main village. The uniqueness and authenticity of the castle of Folegandros combined with the
particular architecture travel the visitor into another era.
After, we pay a visit to the folklore museum or a Themonia. With this particular tour the visitors learn about the traditional way of life, of the inhabitants of the island and the ways they devised in order to gain their everyday life. Last stop, to a traditional grocery in Ano Meria village for lunch. Visitors come in contact with the local community and enjoy local flavors at a traditional grocery where an old lady cooks for us.
