Start the private tour at the ancient theater of Milos, located on the east side of the narrow Gulf of Milos. This structure is nestled amongst the modern villages of Tripiti and Klima, and looks down upon the largest natural port in the Mediterranean.
Pass by the location where the Venus of Milos statue was discovered which now graces the museum of Louvre in Paris. Visit the catacombs of Milos, the 2nd most remarkable pre-Christian catacombs worldwide (following those of Rome) which helped to proclaim Milos as a Holy Island and World Pilgrimage Center in 2014.
Right after, explore the traditional village of Klima and see the colorful syrmata boat houses which decorate the shoreline next to the light green sea. Visit the folklore and archaeological museum in Plaka, the capital of the island. Learn about the history and the traditional life of then islanders before taking a stroll through the villages narrow streets. Make a short stop in Mandrakia, a scenic fisherman’s village with 2 little docks home to more colorful syrmata.
Last stop is at Sarakiniko Beach, wind-hewn valleys meander their way down to a turquoise sea, while sea stacks, caves and elegantly curved cliffs arch over the waves. And everything shines white under the bright Aegean sun.
Tour starts at 09:00 and ends at approx 14:00.
