This bus tour expores the Southern part of the island where you will visit the hidden gems of the area.
Our first stop is the 16th century Prophet Elias Monastery, founded in 1711 and built on the highest point of
the island 565 meters above sea level. From here the panoramic view of the entire island and the Caldera
is majestic.
Next, we visit the most traditional village of Santorini, Megalochori. Our guide will lead us through the narrow streets, where you can admire the traditional architecture of the village and the unique craftsmanship of the local masons.
Akrotiri archaeological site is our next destination. With the help of our guide who will escort you inside, you will discover one of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Minoan site of the ancient world.
Leaving the village behind, it’s time to taste some local specialties at one of the beach restaurants,
or have a swim on Santorini’s famous Perivolos beach where you’ll have about 2 hours free time to explore the area. Perivolos is an organized beach with black sand.
