The day before the statue was dedicated there was a massive demonstration at the funeral of Grigoris Lambrakis a pacifist minister who was murdered by rightwing thugs with connections to the Greek government, military and police. His murder was the subject of the Kostas-Gavras film 'Z' which means "He Lives". |
